[OEM12c] Change SYSMAN password

It's time to change SYSMAN password! First of all you need to know that this will require downtime from the Oracle Management Server (OMS). Secondly that is required to do it from the terminal. But relax, it is an easy process.

These are the steps you need to follow:
  • Stop the OMS. Remember to load your environment variables and be logged with the user "oracle":
emctl stop oms

  • Change the password using the emctl utility:
emctl config oms -change_repos_pwd -use_sys_pwd -sys_pwd oPass -new_pwd nPass

  • Stop completely the OMS and then restart all the OMS:
emctl stop oms -all
emctl start oms

Test your change on the OEM web console:

That's it! Simple steps for that important change.

Issue solved!
